Ladies: starting a business in the Tri-Cities? This is what you need to know.
I get so much joy working with female business owners, especially if they are new to the area or transitioning careers, or growing a side hustle.
I have so many resources to share with you to grow your presence online through social media and with in-person networking.
For a list of great group of people to engage with, check out this past blog post. I have added new groups that you should follow on Facebook here:
Tri-Cities Women’s Collective Facebook Group
GRIT – Women’s only monthly lunch – Facebook Group
Mom’s Chat of JC, Kingsport, Bristol – Facebook Group
Spark Women – Quarterly Women’s Lunch, held at Spark Plaza, this is the next one
Elizabethton Chamber of Commerce, Boss Lady’s Facebook Group
Finally, you want to check out Aundrea Salyer, I mentioned her in the link to the past blog post and she has events all year for KOSBE and this is the next big one on November 2023.
Don’t forget to post your #SmallBusinessSaturday posts on Saturdays in the Moving to Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol Facebook group, you don’t want to skip this step!
If you want to attend events with a larger audience, visit:
Incredible Town’s Networking Events throughout the month, this is their link
If you are a baby boomer, this post is especially dedicated to you!
I recently showed my audience at a local event how to create three buyer personas and how to create social media posts (using prompts) catered to those audiences plus emojis using AI. But first we went old school with brainstorming personas and digging into what their niche is to cater to these audiences then checking the social media analytics on what their current customers are (see above picture).
