What Veterans need to do to Market their business I love helping our Veterans. I was invited to speak to a local Veteran luncheon about social media. Here is why we need to help our Veterans: Veterans make up around 7% of population. 6.1% of all firms in US are Veteran-Owned (Census Bureau) 74% of Veteran owned businesses are owned by people over the age of 55 (SBA) 200K service members transition to civilian life, 20% of them are actively seeing to start a business (Institute for Veterans & Military Families) I shared with this audience tips about LinkedIn (see my previous blog post) and on Instagram (see previous blog post). This is the picture that was taken about me for Times News article, “Watch now: Veterans say help needed to launch businesses, find jobs.” Want to book me for your organization, association, or group?
