Big News: Became a Panelist this week
I was telling my daughters last night that I was so shy as a kid. I struggled to go in front of the class.
But I took a speaking strategically class in my first semester in college and I got straight A’s. I could randomly come up with things to say when I got up to present to my classmates. It was an exciting challenge.
Throughout my 14 years in business, I have done multiple presentations to now thousands. I always try to leave time for Q&A at the end. Usually I ask what was your takeaway and an action item?
These two questions causes people open up and ask me specific questions about their business and social media. I could get a plumber or a HR person ask me about issue about marketing and I would have to come up with a solution on the spot.
9 months later after I moved to Pennsylvania, I became a panelist. I don’t have the words for the emotions right now. I don’t know who accepted my application to be a panelist. But one of them… for sure was Vanessa Rivera 💕 I thanked her in-person at The LadyBoss Network summit that day.
I was about marketing strategy and I mentioned putting yourself out there consistently, using AI as a tool for your storytelling, and having community such as Junior League of the Lehigh Valley & local Polka Dots to meet amazing ladies and build relationships.
I attended three International Women’s day events this week that included mega stars like Cher, Nicole Kidman, Hoda, to local Corporate ladies (see previous post), and my panelist event that included local changer makers working for themselves. Glad to be included!
P.S. If you’d like help amplifying your personal brand with strategy — or want someone to keep you accountable — I’d love to chat.
Thank you for your support these past 14 years. I just celebrated my business anniversary recently and I’m so grateful for your support.
