One of my biggest dreams that I have manifested in my journal was going to the B2B Forum by MarketingProfs.
Technically I wrote that “I am a speaker at MarketingProfs conference” but I’m content being an attendee IRL after years of tuning in online (as a pro member).
I have been consuming content from MarketingProfs since 2008 when I first discovered social media marketing after graduating college that year.
I can’t put into words what it was like to finally meet the people that I regard highly such as Ann Handley (I’m such a fan of content, wardrobe, spirit), Andy Crestodina (I joined the paid version of ChatGPT because of Andy) , Tom Fishburne (I use his cartoon to bring humor to my workshops), Nancy Harhut (I’m obsessed with her “persuasion” work/her book), Brooke B. Sellas (she is so awesome), Christopher Penn (he knows his stuff), Wil Reynolds (his research is WOW), Dorien Morin (I bonded with her so much at this event), Lindsay Tjepkema (thank you for picking me to go on stage as your volunteer), Jo Roberts (thanks for making your webinars fun), AJ Wilcox (you rock those LinkedIn ads). I caught up with A. Lee Judge, Kerry O’Shea Gorgone, JD, MBA (who I hadn’t seen in a decade), Kyle Akerman, and of course, grateful always for Mark Schaefer!
