Read Books of 2020

Transform Your Stories: Overcome Your Toxic Stories, Become a Courageous and Confident Leader, and Impact the World By Ashley Cox. I learned from this book that cultural things I have heard and certain fear related stories I have been telling myself have lead me to have insecurities. I have recently said no to several projects because it wasn’t a “right fit” but maybe perhaps, it is time to answer the questions and journal ideas provided in each chapter and say “yes”! Really loved those examples and journal prompts to dig deeper into these areas for improvement.

The Joy of Missing Out: Live More by Doing Less by Tanya Dalton. Such a candid read and full of tips for productivity and simplifying your priorities.

Superfans: The Easy Way to Stand Out, Grow your Tribe, and Build a Successful Business by Pat Flynn.Really enjoyed his style of storytelling, really recommend because of the action items at the end of each chapter. I ended up doing a lot of the activities recommended. Book from Sparkle Hustle Grow Box.

Imperfect Courage: Live a Life of Purpose by Leaving Comfort and Going Scared by Jessica Honegger. Read it last year before I became a Noonday Ambassador, her stories of her journey of adoption, business, and artisans behind her jewelry could inspire anyone.

Chasing the Bright Side: Embrace Optimism, Activate Your Purpose, and Write Your Own Story by Jess Ekstrom

This book immediately made me a fan, her stories were hilarious yet inspiring. I definitely recommend reading this book when you’re seeking more optimism and thinking of how your past stories of struggles and can get help others overcome their own.

The Selling Staircase: Mastering the Art of Relationship Selling by Nikki Rausch. For so long, I’ve wanted to read one of her books. So glad I discovered it in my Sparkle Hustle Grow monthly subscription box. This book is a must-read for anyone starting, in the middle of starting, or has owned a business for years. It made me rethinking people’s conversations with me and how it could lead to a potential sale.

The Context Marketing Revolution: How to Motivate Buyers in the Age of Infinite Media By Mathew Sweezy. Probably one of the hardest book I’ve read since I finished my MBA program. This was highly recommended and I learned a lot of the future trends coming in Marketing.

The Age of Influence: The Power of Influencers to Elevate Your Brand by Neal Schaffer

Discloser: I received this book from the author for free.

This book is crucial for anyone who are looking to invest time and resources into influencer marketing – effectively!  I learned so much through the case studies, tools/resources, and strategies mentioned throughout this book. I highly recommend anyone in a corporate setting or business owners to really consider reading this book in it’s entirety before launching any influencer campaigns.
